Guidelines

Read the guidelines below to see if your site qualifies.

1. The site must be about animals or pets.
2. The site must be "family friendly", no nudity or bad language.
3. The site must support the love of animals and their proper welfare and care.
4. The site must take stand against animal rights extremes IT MUST SAY SO on the site.
5. The site must not contain any direct links to known Animal Rights Groups or Organizations.
6. The award must be linked back to this site's front door. (http://www.animalowners.org) so that your visitors can learn what is going on.
7. Web site must be in English or translated into English. (sorry!)

Since this is an award for "taking a stand" for owners rights, it is REQUIRED that that the site have some sort of a statement to that effect on their web site. Any website without it will not be considered.

An example of such a statement would be something like:

"We support the right of people to own animals, as long as they do so in a responsible way" If you want you can add activities like, breeding, exhibiting, hunting or another activity that you are involved in or support.

Another way to meet this qualification is to join our sponsor program. You would have to add our banner code, somewhere on your site. By doing so your link or banner will also be added to our page.
